Damn. less than a week after complaining about how much i have to spend on petrol for my car the price went up. what luck. and it didnt even increase by 10 or 20 cents but a whooping 78 cents.

Yeah i guess its nature's way of saying
"We're running low on resources. go take a damn public transport or hitch a ride or just waste less fuel"
ok maybe not exactly that la but i think most of us get the message since the price for petrol will not go down anytime soon. in fact, it never will.
simple economics.

Ok la. so the increase of the petrol price sort of triggered something in me. so decided to google some stuff.
so basically here's 26 things we can do to save the earth.


1. Turn off lights.
2. Turn off other electric things, like TVs, stereos, and radios when not in use.
3. Use rechargable batteries.
4. Do things manually instead of electrically, like open cans by hand.
5. Use fans instead of air conditioners.
6. In winter, wear a sweater instead of turning up your thermostat.
7. Insulate your home so you won't be cold in winter.
8. Use less hot water.
9. Whenever possible, use a bus or subway, or ride your bike or walk.
10. Try to buy organic fruits and vegetables if you're concerned about pesticides. (Organic food is grown without man-made fertilizers and/or pesticides).
11. Don't waste products made from forest materials.
12. Use recycled paper and/or recycle it. Reuse old papers.
13. Don't buy products that may have been made at the expense of the rainforest.
14. Support products that are harvested from the rainforest but have not cut down trees to get it.
15. Plant trees, espessially if you have cut one down.
16. Get other people to help you in your cause. Make and/or join an organization.
17. Avoid products that are used once, then thrown away.
18. Buy products with little or no packaging.
19. Encourage your grocery store sell environmentally friendly cloth bags for people to use when they shop, or bring your own.
20. REDUCE, REUSE, & RECYCLE.
21. Compost.
22. Buy recycled products.
23. Don't buy pets taken from the wild.
24. If you have a good zoo nearby, (if the animals are healthy and the zoo takes care of them), support it! Espessially if they help breed endangered animals.
25. Don't buy products if animals were killed to make it.
26. Cut up your six-pack rings before throwing them out.

ok maybe some of the 26 things dont really apply to us living in Malaysia like number 6 & 7. that whole thing about winters and thermostats. like winter? what winter? we're summer all year long. haha.


also the thought of hitching a ride sounded kinda funny in our country. since i dont think anyone does it.
no, its not the one where you and a bunch of friends decide to get together and get on the same car to go somewhere.
im talking about the ones where you just stand on the roadside while swinging your thumb back and forth hoping some kind soul will give you a ride.

i really can't imagine myself going up to a driver and going like
"Bang, boleh pergi one utama tak?"

i really dont know why but i think its a bit weird/funny.
but that's just one person's opinion right.

but whatever it is i think its time most of us step up right now and do something to save the earth no matter how small our action is. believe me. it helps.

ok great this would be the first time in 5 months since i last posted something up. only one reason for that. like an idiot i forgot my own password so had to try over and over again to sign in.
in a desperate attempt to shut down my own blog i actually tried flagging it a few times but they never shut it down. so since i finally recalled my password now i might as well post something up, right.

ok ok idiocities put aside, im finally driving now. yup the big old VOLVO we have lying around at home. its nothing much but hey, at least it moves. oh and not to mention its never dying thirst for PETROL. dang. the damn car is sucking me dry. one trip to sunway and back is like 10 bucks. what.the.fuck.

shit man. for 5 months of not blogging you would think there's plenty to write about but i could never be more wrong. my god. my blog is absolutely dead. dead i tell you. dead. deaaaaad.

and to YOU whover you are, give yourself a smack on the forehead for actually reading such a meaningless post.

on the other hand, progress of the year has not been that good. haven't even started going to uni yet. mior thinks im probably gonna have a gap year but i dont think thats going to happen. it'll be fun though if it does happen. but no, it wont. im gonna be shipped off to melaka in june. melaka man. MELAKA. haha at least its better than the first place i was going to be sent to which was....... wait for it......
MACHANG,KELANTAN.
haha thank god i dont actually have to go to KELANTAN since we appealed so now its MELAKA. im actually looking on the bright side here.
at least melaka does have some kind of night life there.

oh and we can definitely forget about the damned new year's resolution of getting rich since im not even working. i realised i hate working after 2 weeks of work. yeah wait till YOU start working then you know how it feels. it sucks la. not to mention how i fought with my assistant manager before walking out. haha. that was probably one of the most epic moment of the year so far. hopefully there will be more to come.

-another year passed, another year wiser.

-went through SPM
-went to ROMPIN!
-screwed up the whole year(it was fun though)

oh yeah thats about it. nothing much happened in the year i guess. but hey, there's always 2008.

New Year's Resolution for 2008.
-stop procrastinating(i'll start on that tomorrow)
-buy a PS3
-fix the bloody car
-get licence
-drive all drunk people back home
-collect enough money to start something BIG. which i haven't decided what it is yet but who cares.
-bottom line is just collect some cash. ok not some. tons of cash.

ok. taken first few steps towards getting tons of cash. got a job in SUSHI KING!
haha. its a cool place to work la apart from the crappy uniform and funny looking hat everyone has to wear. and seriously. i dont look good in hats or caps. i never will be. the only time i didnt look that bad when i had something on my head was during prom. oh yeah i liked that fedora. until a few drunk people went home with it.
so yeah. anyone feeling like a good laugh can just come to sushi king and see razreen in his uniform. but its cool la. there's not that much to do. just stand around all day. u can feel the adrenaline flowing in you when its packed though. i think im turning into an adrenaline junkie.

oh yeah. what a load of horse crap. haha.
the best part about working in sushi king?
free sushi everyday. although im probably gonna get sick of it after a few weeks. haha. yup. yup.

oh yea here's a shoutout to everyone in NS or anyone who lost their loved ones to NS
